Lepa Punça

The firm directed by Melisa Rodríguez - whose name means "Preciousness" in Slovenian - specializes in the creation of sustainable designer jewelry pieces. An architect by profession, Rodríguez began to express her love for nature, culture, textures, asymmetry and contrasts in her jewelry as a hobby 8 years ago, but it was not until 2022 when she decided to take up this project professionally and turn it into in the Lepa Punça brand that it is today. "For me it is essential that all pieces have an artisan essence and are made in the most respectful way possible, which is why I only work with precious metals (silver and gold) and natural stones."

A way of working that has led her, without a doubt, to be part of the Isla Bonita Moda label. “That Lepa Punça has the seal means designation of origin. I am from La Palma, I greatly defend craftsmanship and for me it is like making it clear that I am from here, that I am at home and that from a small place you can show very large creations.”

Some of the most characteristic features of Lepa Punça jewelry are its asymmetrical and even individual designs , so that they can be combined based on the style and personality of the wearer. "Jewellery is something that connects with you, it is very timeless, which is why trends don't matter so much to me. I want pieces that make you feel good all your life, not pieces that you use because they are in fashion now," explains Melisa.
